This modest sized town house utilises multiple claddings and innovative design to stand out from other homes. A combination of poured concrete block and conventional timber framing is used as well as preformed steel purloins for the exposed garage ceiling. The exterior is a combination of concrete block veneer, cedar tech ply, cedar weather boards and hardiflex. Poured concrete block wing walls help separate the claddings. Exposed rafters and cedar tech soffits are another interesting aspect of the house. The large living area opens up to the outside courtyard via a large exterior sliding door. A very sensible, functional plan that achieves a unique style.
